Former EVO writer Chris Harris, F1 pundit Eddie Jordan, Recombu Cars’ host Rory Reid and professional driver Sabine Schmitz will join Chris Evans, Matt LeBlanc and of course, the Stig, as the presenters of the rebooted version of Top Gear, BBC has announced.

The show will hit the TV screens in May 2016 and despite the exciting personalities, the new team may still struggle to recreate the success generated by Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May.

Harris, who has a massive following on YouTube, is likely to be the fans’ favorite but one may also want to look out for Reid, who was selected via public auditions and Schmitz, who has gone around the Nurburgring more than 30,000 times, earning her the label of the “Queen of the Nurburgring”.

“We really do have a bit of everything for everyone,” Evans said. “A fellow lifelong petrolhead from the other side of the pond in Matt; a fearless speed-demon in the irrepressible and effervescent Sabine; the encyclopedic, funny and wonderfully colourful character that is EJ; Chris, one of the world’s top no-nonsense car reviewers; and Rory, who simply blew me away in his audition and fully deserves his place on the team.”
