The 73rd edition of the Milan Motorcycle Show (aka EICMA) was held in November 2015 with a plethora of motorbikes, bicycles and electronics on display. In 2014, the event attracted more than 600,000 visitors and many claim that the 2015 edition was even larger in terms of the guests.

The four-day exhibition witnessed several world premiers with Ducati, BMW, Honda, Suzuki, KTM and MV Augusta all coming up with new products. The Ducati XDiavel, Yamaha MT-10, KTM’s SuperDuke GT 1290 and the Kawasaki ZX-10R were perhaps the most eagerly anticipated launches and garnered the most attention.

The XDiavel went on to be voted the “best looking bike” at the show with more than 60 percent of the votes, rounding up an impressive event for Ducati with the Italian company showcasing seven new models. The personalised bikes at the ‘Custom Show’ also saw a lot of visitors with the Honda CD650S concepts and Indian Motorcycles’ Scouts being the standouts.

The first EICMA event was held in 1914 and it has since then become the most talked-about motorbike show in the world. It is organised by ANCMA (Italian Association of Bicycle and Motorcycle Industry Manufacturers) and attracts hundreds of companies from different sectors each year.
