Produced as a track-only and race-focused version of the Porsche Cayman GT4, the GT4 Clubsport has been revealed at the Los Angeles Auto Show 2015. While from a visual standpoint it isn’t massively different than the standard car, it takes pride of place at the Porsche stand and was unmissable.

Powering the Cayman GT4 Clubsport is the same 3.8-litre flat-six engine as the road car meaning it pumps out an identical 380 hp. Importantly however, the Cayman GT4 ditches the manual transmission of the normal GT4 in favour of a quick-shfiting dual-clutch transmission modified for racing and driving the rear wheels through a mechanical locking differential.

Elsewhere, the Cayman GT4 Clubsport has been adorned with the same suspension setup of the 911 GT3 Cup. Additionally, it has been installed with a 12-stage adjustable anti-lock braking system complete with a custom Electronic Stability Program. There are also new brakes, 18-inch forged wheels, a carbon rear wing and a stripped-out interior.
