Faro to Almodovar N2
The Portugese national road N2 is nicknamed the Portugese Route 66 and the best part we drove lies between Almodovar and Faro. It is the Southern most part of the N2 that runs from the Spanish border in the North over the full length of Portugal to the Atlantic Ocean in Faro in the South. Between Almodovar and Faro the N2 crosses a mountain range and its home to more corner than you can imagine. No wonder it is often used for the annual rally of Portugal.
