2018 Porsche 911 GTS with Turbocharging – Latest Spy Shots

A new batch of spy shots have been released of the turbocharged 2018 Porsche 911 GTS.

Following the trend of other 911 models, the new 911 GTS will adopt turbocharging as Porsche ditches the naturally aspirated 3.8-litre engine in favour of a 3.0-litre twin-turbo flat six. As with the previous generation of GTS, the 2018 (991.2) model will be offered in both two and four wheel drive as well as in Coupe, Cabriolet and Targa variants. Both a manual and a PDK version will be on offer.

While we don’t expect any drastic changes from the refreshed GTS, we assume that it will receive a small bump in power as well as a few minor styling tweaks that will be designed to set it apart from lesser models.

From these spy shots, we can see that this development version of the GTS features a revised front bumper with GT3-inspired air intakes as well as two centrally mounted exhaust pipes out the back. A more aggressive rear diffuser is also visible.

We will keep you updated as we hear more regarding the development of the refreshed 2018 911 GTS.
