Opening to the public on November 20, the Los Angeles Auto Show 2015 is set to host 30 world debuts.

While a full list of world debuts isn’t available just yet, we do know that some cars celebrating their world debuts at L.A. will be the facelifted Mercedes-Benz GLS and SL models and the track-only Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport.

One of the most significant debuts at the show will be for the Range Rover Evoque Convertible. It is set to feature a limited production run and will be based around the facelifted Evoque range. As a result, it will feature all of the visual changes adopted by the 2016 model year Range Rover Evoque alongside the implementation of a folding soft-top.

As for the Cayman GT4 Clubsport, it will be powered by the same 3.8-litre flat-six engine as the road car delivering 385 hp. However, it will feature a dual-clutch transmission rather than a six-speed manual and be fielded by customers in the Pirelli GT3 Cub Trophy, Pirelli World Challenge and Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge.

Also debuting at the Los Angeles Auto Show 2015 will be the 2016 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 and Targa 4 models.

Discussing this year’s show, L.A. Auto Show president Lisa Kaz said “This year’s news comes from many sources, and it’s fascinating to witness the dramatic and swift changes that are transforming the automotive business .”
