2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Already Imagined as Convertible

Just yesterday, the 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe was revealed. As we’ve known for quite some time, a convertible variant is set to follow in the near future and already, X-Tomi Design has rendered how the upcoming S-Class Convertible will look.

Set to be based off the two-door coupe rather than the four-door S-Class sedan, the new Convertible variant will inevitably look very similar to the Coupe albeit with either a folding hardtop or a folding soft top. As a result of this, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Convertible is bound to look equally impressive as the recently revealed coupe which is definitely one of the most beautiful cars we’ve seen in recent years!

2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe

As it stands, the first variant to be introduced of the new S-Class Coupe is the 2015 Mercedes-Benz S 500 Coupé. Just like its sedan sibling which we had the lucky chance to drive last year, the S 500 Coupé features a 4.6-liter V8 biturbo engine delivering a total of 455 hp and a peak of 700 Nm of torque. Unfortunately, Mercedes-Benz has yet to release performance times for the new Mercedes-Benz S 500 Coupé but that shouldn’t be surprising considering this car is all about luxury and style and not outright acceleration nor top speed.

As with the sedan, the 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupé is available with an array of other systems include Pre-Safe brake with pedestrian detection, Distronic Plus with Steer Assist and Stop&Go Pilot, Bas Plus with junction assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Adaptive high-beam Assist Plus and Night View Assist Plus. An additional Collision Prevention Assist Plus is available. So to put it in lamens terms, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupé is essentially available with any automotive function you could dream of.
