The 2013 Mercedes-Benz CLA has had its fair share of media appearances in the past few days since its debut at the Detroit Motor Show. Most recently, it was spotted by Will Lillo in Barcelona and it was fitted with an optional AMG styling package.
This particular example is the CLA 180 variant which features a 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline powerhouse with 120HP (122PS) and 200 Nm (147.5 lb-ft) of torque. It is capable of doing a 0-100 km/h (62 mph) time of 9.3 seconds and a top speed of 210 km/h (130 mph). The AMG styling package gives it a more aggressive nature.
The official AMG model will be the CLA 45 AMG which will feature a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo petrol AMG engine with 4Matic all-wheel drive, SPEEDSHIFT DCT 7-speed sports transmission, AMG sports suspension with independently developed front and rear axles, electromechanical AMG speed-sensitive sports steering, AMG high-performance braking system and a 3-stage ESP with sport handling mode.
