Hennessey has just released a new video showcasing its HPE700 tuned Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 completing the quarter mile in just 10.82 seconds at 131mph.
Even though the HPE700 is only the mid-range package for the Camaro offered by Hennessey, this time does make it one of the fastest street-legal Camaro’s money can buy and we can only wonder how fast the HPE1000 would be when completing the quarter mile.
The HPE700 package offered by the American tuner features a supercharged 6.2 liter V8 engine with a new cold air induction system, upgraded intercooler, stainless steel headers, new pulleys and a revised ECU. Additional changes include a new camshaft and high flow cylinder heads all of which combine to produce 707hp.
