Swedish delight in form of a supercar is finally coming to America. Koenigsegg have announced that the Agera R will be available to the American Market at a stunning price of $1.5 million. The news comes shortly after the Agera R made its debut at The Pebble Beach Concours which is also the only show in America that Koenigsegg shows its cars.
For that stunning price you get a truly unique supercar. The Agera R which follows in the footsteps of the CCXR with the ability to run on both E85 biofuel and petrol. Koenigsegg was the first Hypercar manufacturer to take steps toward green technology with the release of the biofuel CCXR in 2007.
The engine details are roughly comparable to the price tag too; a 5.0 liter V8 rated at 960 horsepower on regular pump gas and up to 1,140 horsepower when running on E85 fuel with a max torque of 1,200Nm at 4,100rpm. Zero to 60mph takes just 2.9 seconds, top speed is thought to be 273mph.
The normal supercar styling is not left out from the package either. The Agera features a detachable hardtop with a glass roof, unique stitching, adjustable seats in rake and length, USB connection, climate control, digital warning and information system, G-sensor, alarm, tire monitoring system, silver key, leather carpets and much more.

Ahhhh finally … the Koenigsegg’s to go with Pagani ! We get em all now
Too bad most will spend their money on pretentious Ferrari ‘ halo ‘ cars and Science Experiment McLaren P1’s when they could now have one of these . Real supercars …….. for Real drivers . Not for wanna be’s- movie stars and teen pop idols
LOL @GS i will still buy a ZR1 instead of a Pagani or Koenigsegg anytime…1.5million is enough to buy me a spaceship haha
