Aston Martin V12 Zagato Limited to Only 101 Pieces

Aston Martin has released a statement saying that the Aston Martin V12 Zagato will be limited to only 101 pieces, 49 less than initially mentioned by the UK car builder.

With a price of around 400,000 euros the V12 Zagato is not particular cheap, but does this mean the unique coachbuild project received less interest from customers across the world? We are not drawing any early conclusions, but it seems that the British-Italian cooperation did not seem to sell as many as they had hoped for.

The final result of only 101 pieces means the car will become more limited and a better money maker, a good prospect for owners who ordered a V12 Zagato.

Just a small recap! The V12 Zagato was not designed by Zagato, but in an internal competition with Aston’s own designers. It features a new handcrafted aluminium body designed with typical Zagato trademarks. It is powered by a 6.0 liter V12 engine producing 510bhp and 570Nm of torque. The sports car is based on the V12 Vantage and shares many of its characteristics.
