Bugatti Spaceship at Comic-Con 2012

Visitors to Comic-Con 2012 will be greeted by a giant Bugatti spaceship, displayed outside of the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego. Movie bosses arranged to have the futuristic Bugatti spaceship displayed to promote the new film, Elysium, starring Matt Damon. We’re told by the guys over at FirstShowing that it’s an actual set piece designed and used to film with so you’ll be able to see it when the film is released on March 1, 2013.

Elysium was written and directed by Niell Blomkamp. It features Matt Damon and Jodie Foster as characters on a ravaged Earth and a space station named Elysium. The film is being shot in Vancouver, Canada and production began in July 2011. It has been revealed that the film will use plenty of futuristic luxury concepts due to the plot line which centres on a divide between two classes of people, the population of earth who live in destitution and the popularion of Elysium who live a luxurious lifestyle.
