Ferrari Pinin

Almost every major sports car manufacturer has built a four-door car. Aston Martin offers the Rapide, Bugatti is working on the Galibier, and Lamborghini has built the Estoque Concept. Even before Porsche unveiled the four-door Panamera, the German company had built the 989 and a special four-door version of the 928.

And Ferrari? The Prancing Horse has also built a four-door named the Pinin Concept and this car is currently for sale.

The first four-door car made by the Italian company was unveiled at the 1980 Turin Motorshow. The design by Pininfarina was a huge success, it even impressed Enzo Ferrari himself. He considered producing a limited run of Pinins, but it somehow never came this far. Only one model was made.

The Ferrari Pinin is powered by a 5.0 liter flat 12 which provides 360 horsepower and a maximum torque of 450Nm. The power is transferred to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual drive. Never before had an engine of this configuration been fitted in front of the driver’s compartment. From a mechanical point of view the Pinin is similar to the Ferrari 400 GT.

This unique and historical Ferrari is currently for sale in Modena, Italy and listed at Mobile.de. The four-door Italian is for sale for € 1,000,000 excluding taxes.
