BMW’s Vision EfficientDynamics

BMW’s Vision EfficientDynamics that was presented during the IAA 2009 is ready for a sequel. In 2013 the guys from Munich will present a new high performance and lightweight supercar with a plug-in hybrid powertrain.

During the official launch of the BMW M1 Coupé Ian Roberson, Sales and Marketing Director at BMW, told the world that the new supercar will “redefine the looks of modern supercars”. He also stated that the car will cost around $ 200,000 (€ 150,000 – £ 130,000) which is much lower than its direct competitor, the SLS E-Cell.
