Based off the mighty Audi S8, MTM brings us the MTM Audi S8 Talladega R at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. The MTM Audi S8 Talladega R is the result of an even more aggressive tuning package for Audi’s S8 after having seen MTM’s S8 Talladega S at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.

MTM states that the S8 Talladega R is set to break records, displayed in Geneva with a well-disguised camouflage design. MTM reworked the S8’s engine, with the 4.0-liter twinturbo V8 now producing 802 hp at 6,000 rpm. The 945 Nm of torque are developed almost linearly between 2,250 5,500 rpm.

0-100 km/h takes the S8 Talladega R just 3.1 seconds while the 300 mark is reached within 29 seconds time. The speedometer tops out at a whopping 350 km/h. Just like the Audi S8 Plus, this version of the S8 is equipped with carbon ceramic brakes semi-hidden behind the 22” Bimoto alloy wheels. Fitted with Michelin Pilot Supersport 265/30 ZR 22 tires, the car is said to have phenomenal grip.

Other modifications include an aerodynamic package to improve high-speed stability and several premium interior upgrades. With the normal S8 starting from €124,000, the MTM Audi S8 Talladega R is supposedly priced around a casual €200,00, of course depending on what boxes customers tick on the option list.

Shown in an interesting four-color livery at the Geneva Motor Show, the car almost looks like as it is a tribute to the late Jon Olsson RS6 DTM. Check out our live gallery and coverage and let us know what you think!
