Video: Evo Drives the 408km/h Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Edition

At the recent record setting run in the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Edition, Evo Magazine’s Harry Metcalfe came along to get a first-hand look at the run as well as to go for a world exclusive drive in the limited edition Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse!

The video includes the first on-board footage from the run where Chinese driver Anthony Liu managed to hit 254.04mph on Volkswagen’s 12-mile bowl at Ehra-Lessien in Germany.

As the clip shows, the stability in the car is absolutely incredible and even when driving at 400km/h, there is barely any buffeting inside the cabin as Liu’s race suit barely flutters in the wind.

After that new world record run, Metcalfe himself got to drive the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Edition on Ehra-Lessien where he managed to hit an extremely impressive speed of 360km/h!
