Day 2 of the Goodwood Festival of Speed has come and gone and GTspirit is bringing you all the highlights!
The day started off with the first batch of cars to tackle the hillclimb lining up on the starting grid. These included the ‘Titans’ car category, along with Pre-War and Post-War Grand Prix cars, Classic Endurance racers and Ford GT40s.
Several model debuts were celebrated on Day 2 including the Lamborghini Mirua-inspried Aventador Miura 50 Edition and the 1 of 1 Aston Martin Vantage GT12 Roadster. Goodwood also saw the first in-person appearance of the Ferrari 458 Speciale MM – a one off version of the 458 created by Ferrari’s Personalization Program.
The second batch of hillclimb cars consisted mostly of racecars, with BTCC, Drift, Rally and NASCAR entries present. Other hillclimb categories include racecars driven by James Hunt, motorcycles and contemporary Formula 1 cars.
The true highlight of the Goodwood weekend is usually the supercar paddock – and it doesn’t disappoint this year. Entries include the McLaren P1 LM, Ferrari FXX K, Ferrari F12 TdF, McLaren 570S Sprint, Aston Martin Vulcan, Mercedes-AMG GT S, Bugatti Chiron and more.
