Ferrari have unveiled the Ferrari California T Handling Speciale at the Geneva Motor Show 2016. The Handling Speciale package is essentially an optional extra. It is a big optional extra though and is likely to find its way onto the majority of Ferrari California T’s ordered in the future. We took a closer look at the car on display at the Geneva Motor Show 2016.

To tell the 2016 Ferrari California T Handling Speciale apart on an aesthetic level, Ferrari include a new front grille in matte Grigio Ferro Met and a rear diffuser in the same colour with matte black fences and matte black tailpipes. A special plaque in the cockpit also displays the unique HS optional package.

The Handling Speciale package includes 16% stiffer front springs and 19% stiffer rear springs. Dampers receive new mappings and a revised F1-Trac logic helps ensure better acceleration. A new sound is generated by a new exhaust system featuring two primary pipes and a new geometry, specifically designed with the exhaust note at the forefront.
