The InterContinental Hotel Group (IHG) recently opened a new luxury hotel in the capital of Minnesota, Saint Paul. The InterContinental Saint Paul Riverfront is located in a completely refurbished historical downtown building, providing guests with views over the Mississippi river and downtown Saint Paul.
A multi-million dollar investment was involved with renovating the historical downtown building, which was originally built in the mid-1900’s. After the renovation works, the interior of the riverfront property was finished with a modern design and décor.
The InterContinental Saint Paul Riverfront contains a total of 410 guest rooms, 43,000 square feet in meeting spaces, an executive boardroom and two ballrooms. The luxury property furthermore houses a newly opened restaurant called the “Citizen Supper Club restaurant”.
The InterContinental Saint Paul Riverfront is owned and operated by Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures, and Jr. CEO Joe Nayquonabe had the following to say: “This building has been a fixture in Saint Paul for over 50 years and we are committed to the continuous evolution of this historic property. With the extensive renovations complete, we are excited to bring the InterContinental brand of luxury to Minnesota’s capital city.”
