Both the Mercedes-AMG C43 and C63 Cabriolet will be officially revealed during the 2016 Geneva Motor Show in March.

As for the 2017 Mercedes-AMG C63 Cabriolet, it’s expected that it’s mechanically identical to the C-Class Coupé, apart from the added soft-top of course. The convertible is the last performance model in the current C-Clas generation to be unveiled, packing the same 4.0-liter V8 engine.

If the 2017 Mercedes-AMG C63 Cabriolet is to receive an S variant likewise to the other C-Class AMG models, the speedy convertible will be capable of producing a staggering 503hp. This translates into a 0-100 time of 4 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h.

The Mercedes-AMG C43 cabriolet seems to be a different story, with the C43 AMG Coupé also expected to be unveiled at this year’s Geneva Motor Show. The “43 AMG” nameplate is on its return ever since Mercedes-Benz unveiled the SLC43 AMG late last year. Anticipating on continuing this trend, Mercedes-Benz now announces the C43 AMG, and is expected to introduce an E43 AMG in the near future as well.
