In the latest Chris Harris on Cars video, the British automotive journo managed to arrange a truly epic track and road test between the 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS, Aston Martin Vantage GT12 and the McLaren 650S.
On paper, the 911 GT3 RS and GT12 are cut from the same cloth in that they’re both hardcore, lightweight and more powerful versions of their standard models. On the other hand, the 650S is the entry-level model in McLaren’s Super Series so seems out of its depth in this company. As Harris rightfully points out however, prices for the Vantage GT12 and new GT3 RS are so high that they’re encroaching on the likes of the 650S which generally speaking, is a class above both from a technology, performance and comfort standpoint.
So just which of the three is the best way to spend about 250,000 pounds? Well watch the video to find out!
