Next year, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts will open its brand new hotel in Florida. Dubbed Four Seasons Hotel The Surf Club, the property was first announced in early 2014 and will become the company’s fourth hotel/resort in Florida.
The hotel will include 77 rooms and be situated on a 3.6 hectare block of land offering 300 metres of beachfront and including over 40 beach cabanas. Additionally, there will be four separate swimming pools as well as landscaped and eye-catching gardens throughout.
Alongside the 77 guest rooms, the property will include 150 private residences with the design coming courtesy of Richard Meier & Partners. All of the rooms and residences will be found within the two 12-story towers as well a spa and fitness centre, two restaurants and oceanside gardens.
Discussing the new hotel, executive vice president of worldwide development for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts Scott Woroch said “We move forward with opportunities only if we are confident we have the right location and the right partner – a partner who shares our vision for success. We are excited to partner with Fort Capital and Richard Meier – visionaries who have embraced The Surf Club’s rich history and provenance while boldly reimagining its future.
“This is a tremendous opportunity to grow our portfolio in Florida, a key growth market for Four Seasons . Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club will be a dynamic complement to our existing properties in Florida – Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach andFour Seasons Hotel Miami, as well as the highly anticipatedFour Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World® Resort opening this summer.”
