The one-off Lamborghini Aventador built for Dahlback Racing has been destroyed by fire in Sweden.

Details about the blaze are limited but it is suggested that just before the fire erupted, the driver heard a bang from the engine bay. The driver then immediately pulled over and before long, the entire Italian supercar was alight.

Emergency services did arrive on the scene to douse the flames but not before the Aventador was a complete loss. All that’s left is a burnt and mangled shell with no parts being salvageable.

The car itself was unique as it was built for the owner of Dahlback Racing, Hans Dahlback. Most notably, it was built by the Squadra Corse racing division of Lamborghini and was unlike any other Aventador in the world.

From a styling standpoint, the Dahlback Aventador could be distinguished from a standard Aventador with its redesigned rear fascia, massive rear wing, new front bumper with carbon fibre canards as well as a set of black wheels with orange brake calipers.

It isn’t known who was behind the wheel at the time of the blaze but they escaped without injury.

Aha. But seriously. I think I would cry if this happened to me.
