Former Formula One driver and double world driver’s champion Mika Hakkinen has just taken delivery of a potent McLaren P1.
The Finnish racer was snapped with the car in Monaco recently where it is assumed he was first handed the keys to his brand new British hybrid hypercar. While we’ve seen a number insanely bright McLaren P1s, Hakkinen’s features a relatively restrained exterior look.
It has been painted in a dark shade of grey which has an incredible shine to it. Elsewhere, matte black racing wheels have been installed as have a number of carbon fibre elements adorning the exterior. There are also bright orange brake calipers.
Hakkinen becomes just the latest Formula One driver to have taken delivery of a P1 after current F1 driver’s Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton took delivery of their respective P1s earlier in the year.
