Red Zagato Maserati Mostro at Chantilly 2015

With a design unlike any other car on the market, it’s little surprise why the Zagato Maserati Mostro had heads rolling and jaws dropping at the Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille 2015 held over the weekend.

Red Maserati Zagato Mostro

This particular Mostro is believed to be just the second in existence after the car debuted in gloss black at Villa d’Este 2015 back in late May. Also unlike that original car, this Mostro features a towering rear wing juxtaposing the vehicle’s sleek and flowing design.

The Mostro has been designed to pay tribute to the 1957 Maserati 450 S and has created by the same studio responsible for the Alfa Romeo TZ3 and Perana Z-One. Consequently, it features a similar overall design.

Powering the Mostro is a Maserati-sourced naturally-aspirated V8 engine reportedly producing 400 hp.

Just five examples of the Mostro are set to be produced.
