A 1974 Ferrari Dino 246 GTS will be sold without a reserve at RM Sotheby’s upcoming ‘The Pinnacle Portfolio’ sale. While it will be sold for whatever price is offered, it is expected to fetch around $350,000 to $400,000.
Powering the car is a 2.4-litre V6 engine featuring double overhead cams and delivering 195 hp. It also includes three Weber carburettors, a five-speed manual transmission as well as A-arm suspension with coil springs and sway bars at both the front and rear. It also includes disc brakes at all four corners.
This particular example has been owned by numerous enthusiasts in the United States. It was purchased by the current owner in July 2011 and has covered 37,619 miles. It was most recently serviced by Ferrari of Central Florida in February 2015.
