At Monterey on August 13-15, RM Sotheby’s is set to sell off a special 2013 Ferrari 458 Challenge Evoluzione with no reserve. This particular example has been owned by just one person from new and amazingly, has never actually been arced.
This particular 458 Challenge left the Italian marque’s factory in standard specification. Following the introduction of the Evoluzione package in 2014 however, it was installed with all the updates. Consequently, it was then installed with a revised rear bumper, diffuser and a towering new rear wing. Additionally, the front bumper and splitter have both been modified to provide additional downforce to the front axle.
Prior to receiving the ‘Evo’ upgrades, this 458 Challenge participated in two half-day sessions with the Ferrari Club of America at Watkins Glen. It then participated in two four hour sessions at the Daytona International Speedway. Since receiving the Evoluzione package in May 2014, it has yet to be driven despite being eligible for Ferrari Challenge series racing.
