Production-Spec Sin R1 Revealed Before Frankfurt

Production-spec Sin R1 launched

The covers have just been lifted on the first production-spec Sin R1 supercar set to debut at the IAA Frankfurt Motor Show 2015 in September. The launch of the R1 comes after years of development and a selection of prototypes being unveiled throughout the world.

In creating the road-going R1, Sin has implemented a selection of important new features to make it suitable for everyday driving. These include ABS and traction control as well as air conditioning, an infotainment system with a tablet alongside an overhauled interior with a fresh steering wheel and centre console.

Powering the Sin R1 is a naturally-aspirated 6.2-litre V8 engine sourced from GM and delivering 525 hp. Consequently, the supercar can apparently reach 100 km/h in a Bugatti Veyron equalling 2.5 seconds.

Sin Cars claims that shortly after the Frankfurt show, the first sales of the car will commence.
