2017-Lamborghini-Huracan-SV-10

The very first spy shots of the first hardcore Lamborghini Huracan variant have emerged as preliminary testing of the car gets underway.

While many websites are referring to the model as the Lamborghini Huracan SV, it is far more likely it will adopt the Superleggera badge. After all, the SV name is only reserved to the Italian marque’s halo supercars. Names aside, the most obvious giveaway that this Huracan is a prototype is that the rear-end features two additional exhaust pipes exiting from the middle of the rear bumper in a similar vein to the Ferrari 458 Speciale.

Additionally, it is believed that the Lamborghini Huracan test mule in question is sporting slightly larger brake calipers than the current car to inevitably compensate for the additional power the hardcore Huracan is expected to receive. If Lamborghini follows a similar recipe to the Gallardo Superleggera models, then the new Huracan should receive a host of aerodynamic modifications not present on this tester. Furthermore, some weight savings can be expected.

Because testing of the car is in its infancy, further details remain scarce. With that being said, a world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show 2016 next March is being speculated.
