A bespoke Ferrari California T courtesy of the Italian marque’s Tailor Made program has just been unveiled at the ongoing Shanghai Motor Show 2015. The car has been created to show the plethora of personalisation options offered through Ferrari Tailor Made and has been inspired by Ingrid Bergman and Jacqueline Kennedy.
The most eye-catching element of this Ferrari California T is its paint finish. The shade is dubbed Grigio Ingrid and it is a unique twist of grey which looks exceptionally classy on the curvaceous yet aggressive front-engined Ferrari. Interestingly, this is the exact same shade which Ingrid Bergman’s former Ferrari 375 MM was painted in when she was given it in 1954.
In the cabin, the California T in question features eye-catching brown leather across the seats and dashboard. Elsewhere in the interior there are a selection of black plastic trimmings particularly on the door panels and upper half of the dashboard.
Elsewhere, Alcantara can be found in abundance throughout alongside 100 per cent virgin woollen floor mats from New Zealand.
Underpinning the car is of course the same powertrain as the run-of-the-mill California T. That engine is a twin-turbocharged 3.8-litre V8 delivering an impressive 552 hp at 7,500 rpm and a mega 755 Nm of torque at a relatively low 4,750 rpm. As a result, the new California T can launch from a standstill to 100 km/h in a mere 3.6 seconds. The car then continues to accelerate to its top speed of 316 km/h.
