A 42-year-old has died after crashing his potent Lamborghini Gallardo in Wetherill Park, about 35 km from the central business district in Sydney, Australia.

Police are currently investigating the crash but eye-witnesses claim that the Italian supercar crossed onto the opposite side of the road before crashing into a number of cars and ultimately hitting a pole and a fence. Fortunately no-one else was injured or killed in the crash.

As for the damage sustained to the Lamborghini Gallardo, it is quite obvious. Starting at the front of the mid-engined supercar, it has been completely decimated by the various impacts making the car almost unrecognisable as a Gallardo. Elsewhere, we can see that the driver side front wheel has been torn from the car while authorities evidently had to use the jaws of life to reach the driver. As a result, the roof has sustained comprehensive damage as well.

Elsewhere, the driver side rear wheel is damaged while the rear bumper has also been torn off.
