Featuring a grey paint job and some unique red accents, the original McLaren P1 by McLaren Special Operations (MSO) has been spotted on numerous occasions in recent months. Most recently, Pagani Automobile founder Horacio Pagani was snapped behind the wheel of the unique P1. Now, the same P1 has been filmed at Ferrari’s Fiorano test track!

This McLaren P1 is apparently the only one registered in Italy but it is extremely rare to see any car other than a Ferrari on Fiorano. As a result, it remains unclear just how the British hybrid hypercar got onto the track and what exactly it is doing there. Could Ferrari somehow have convinced the owner to let them benchmark test it against the LaFerrari? It really is a mystery.
