Track-Spec Nissan 2020 Vision GT Imagined

At the recent Goodwood Festival of Speed 2014, the insane Nissan Concept 2020 Vision Gran Turismo was revealed. While the car will only be ever driveable in Gran Turismo 6, Yasid Oozeear has decided to render what a potential track-dedicated version would look like in real life or in Gran Turismo 6 itself.

As the image above shows, the most dramatic change is the adoption of a complete racing livery with sponsors like Motul, Autec, Bridgestone and Alpine Stars. It also features a larger rear wing stretching out further to match the width of the car. Elsewhere, new wheels have been adopted, while the front end receives a more prominent front splitter as well as large canards.

In case you didn’t know, the Nissan Concept 2020 Vision Gran Turismo was designed by a small group of budding young designers at Nissan Design Europe in London. As with all the other Vision Gran Turismo concept cars revealed, the Concept 2020 Vision Gran Turismo features very outlandish styling and adopts a traditional supercar shape with a very low roofline, heavily raked windscreen and large rear wing.

At the front, some parallels can be drawn with the current Nissan GT-R such as the hood and the two air outlets towards the windshield. Other than that however, this is a completely unique design and if it is indeed previewing the next-generation GT-R, then expect a very potent looking supercar which has already been confirmed to feature a hybrid powertrain.
