While the replacement to the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, the so-called AMG GT edges ever closer to an impending release, the car it will replace is still more than capable of dropping jaws all around the world. The following SLS AMG Black Series by World Motorsports however, goes that extra step further by dropping your jaw to the floor and leaving you salivating.
From a visual standpoint, this Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series by World Motorsports features a heavily revised front bumper including a new carbon fiber front splitter, carbon fiber air vents on the side as well as a stunning set of matte black wheels wrapped in Michelin rubber. However, as you’ve probably already recognised, the most dramatic visual change comes at the rear.
The massive rear wing you see actually comes with three different sized aluminium uprights. As a result, the rear wing can be raised and lowered (manually, obviously) from the lowest setting which is already quite high right up to the height of the wing from the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3!
Under the hood, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series by World Motorsports features a twin-turbocharger system helping the V8 engine produce just a little more oomph. World Motorsports is still developing further performance SLS AMG parts to offer to customers this year. For the time being, this SLS AMG Black Series is being used as a test bed for such upgrades. It is currently producing 850 hp at just 4 pounds of boost and World Motorsports have already managed to safely increase that to 10 pounds for extra power!
