Yesterday GTspirit attended the official preview of the new 2015 Volkswagen Golf R due for public debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2013! With 300hp, 380Nm of torque and a sprint from 0-100 km/h in 4.9 seconds Volkswagen pushes the Golf to new heights.
The new Golf R is, like its predecessor, created by Volkswagen R GmbH in the German town of Warmenau. The specialists at R GmbH focus on the development of the R cars and R-lines for existing Volkswagen models as well as build the Volkswagen Exclusive models. The 2015 Volkswagen Golf R was officially presented to the national and international press yesterday by Ulrich Richter, CEO of Volkswagen R GmbH and Dr. Heinz-Jakob Neußer, the new Board Member for development of the Volkswagen brand.
