Bugatti has just released the first official video of its brand new Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse WRE setting a new fastest production roadster top speed at Volkswagen’s infamous Ehra-Lessien proving ground.
The record setting run took place approximately three weeks ago when Chinese racing driver Anthony Liu reached a top speed of 408.84km/h down Ehra-Lessien’s seemingly never ending front straight.

Just eight units of the very special Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Edition will be created for a price of around $2.6 million. Powering the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse and the World Record Edition is a quad-turbocharged 8.0-liter W16 engine pumping out an impressive 1,200hp!
