Targa Trophy is all about the automotive culture of southern California and they have several events that run throughout the year. The first one of these events was the Targa Trophy Experience Event #1 themed the German Car Festival and was held in San Diego. According to the organizers, it was the biggest experience for Targa Trophy ever and had 130 rally cars and 250+ show cars.
Being that this event was German Car Festival, nothing would be expected than a showcase of German marques to the fullest, they included the Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing, BMWs, VWs and more. However, since Targa Trophy is open to all makes of exotic and specialty sports cars, other cars included the BMW M3, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG by HG Motorsports and many more as shown in the gallery.
The second event was the Targa Trophy and Formula Drift Special Event Series held on April 13 in Long Beach, then the Targa Trophy Experience Event #2 to be held on May 11 at Orange County, Targa Trophy and Formula Drift Special Event Series on June 1 in Palm Beach, FL; it will be followed by the Targa Trophy Experience Event #3 on July 27 from Los Angeles to Las Vegas, in August they will hold the Texas Event Cruise. As from September 19 to 21, they will hold the Targa Trophy California 1000 then the Irwindale Event Cruise in October before bringing the nine events to a close in December with the Targa Trophy Holiday Cruise & Food Drive.
