We recently stumbled on the following 1995 Ferrari F50 listed on Jamesedition, formerly Jameslist, and it’s price tag alone was worthy of getting our attention.
Ferrari recently unveiled the 2013 LaFerrari at the Geneva Motor Show 2013 with a £1,000,000 price tag, while the competing McLaren P1 will cost a relatively small £866,000.
However, for the same price as a brand new McLaren P1, one could walk away with this 1995 Ferrari F50 which has been listed with a price of $1,295,000 which equates to £861,000.
Why is it so expensive? Well, this particular Ferrari F50 has travelled just 5131km and features a 4.7-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine with 520hp and a carbon fiber tub and body. Unlike the LaFerrari and McLaren P1 however, this F50 comes with a 6 speed manual transmission and also a removable hard top and box as well as a soft top roof.
This car is also just one of 55 examples which made it the U.S.
