At the 2010 Geneva Motor Show Bertone surprised us with the unique Bertone Alfa Romeo Pandion Concept. A stunning concept car that celebrated the 100th anniversary of Alfa Romeo. Since 2010 we haven’t seen or heard from the Bertone Pandion Concept, until today! Our friend Gordon Cheng is touring the Middle East and found the Alfa Romeo Pandion concept at a warehouse in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates. As we mentioned at the introduction of the Bertone Pandion Concept in 2010, we were hoping to see it again rather sooner than later.

The Bertone Pandion Concept was the first car designed by Mike Robinson, the Design Director at Bertone. The Pandion can be described as a dream car that draws its name from an Osprey in the animal world. The doors that stretch from front to rear fender open up 90 degrees and stretch out 3.7 meters into the sky when fully opened.

The sharp and clean lines of the body of the car are contrasting to the rear of the car where an ‘open-end’ show what looks like internal parts of the car have been ripped out by the sheer speed of the car.
