The 2013 Parx Supercar Show took place in the city of Mumbai with more than 100 supercars in attendance. The event also saw the Parx Supercar Rally take place and it’s at this point where an Audi R8 was suddenly engulfed by smoke. The German supercar took a short amount of time to burn to the ground, luckily the driver was saved by the other participants. These two videos show the Audi R8 in flames while the other shows Head of Audi India, Michael Perschke who also took part in the rally, talk about the incident.
The car was allegedly highly modified but Perschke said an investigation was being carried out to uncover the cause of the fire.
