The auction of the Nissan ‘Bolt Gold’ GT-R has ended three days ago after starting on the 22nd of November. The one-off 2013/2014MY GT-R was auctioned on the eBay online auction platform and embossed Bolt’s signature and bespoke interior fittings finished in real gold.
Proceeds from the online auction go to the foundation’s work creating educational and cultural opportunities for children and young people in the Olympic Champion’s home country of Jamaica.
In addition to the GT-R various accessories were auctioned for charity: a pair of shoes, three helmets and a cap. All these items had a signature of Usain Bolt. The total proceeds of the auction were $193,191.
