2013 Jaguar XFR-S to Debut at 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show

Since we’ve seen an almost undisguised version of the upcoming XFR-S testing at the Nürburgring earlier this month, this won’t really come as much of a surprise. Jaguar will release it’s range topping Jaguar XFR-S at the Los Angeles Auto Show next week. We have to say that we are genuinely excited about this car, the XFR is one our favourite performance sedans.

By releasing a teaser image of the XFR-S nose, Jaguar have confirmed what we already knew. The car in the pictures features Jaguar’s characteristic blue bodywork, first displayed on the XKR-S Coupé. The teaser picture also reveals aggressive accents in the nose as well as the copious use of carbon fiber!

Many more details aren’t yet to be revealed, however, we can say that the XFR-S will get the same supercharged 5.0 liter V8 as the XKR-S, delivering 550hp together with 510 pound-feet of torque. Expect a sprint time from zero to 100km/h in just under five seconds, which makes it the fastest sedan in the British carmakers history.
