Ford Not Planning 2014 Mustang Boss 302

Ford Mustang Boss 302

During the Los Angeles Motor Show Motor late last year, Ford showed a special edition of its Mustang muscle car, the Boss 302. The name was chosen in spirit of honoring Parnelli Jones’ 1970 Trans-Am championship car prepared by Bud Moore.

The current model features a number of cosmetic upgrades including HID headlamps and LED-surround tail-lamps, a splitter, functional hood extractors and a rear spoiler. Under the hood you will find a 5.0 liter V8 engine.

Ford has announced that they will adhere their promise to build the car for only two years, so we won’t see a new Mustang Boss 302 in 2014. A complete new Mustang is expected late 2015 and we would love to see a Boss 302 version, along with several other editions.
