German tuner Prior Design has revealed a new widebody aerodynamic kit for Mercedes-Benz SL class (R230). They dubbed the package Black Edition V2. The conversion kit is still under development and shows what to expect. The Germans used Dura-Flex FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) a composite material made of a polymer matrix reinforced with fibers.
The new SL conversion kit consists of a front bumper with a splitter and dive planes, front lip spoiler, side skirts, rear bumper with diffuser and rear widenings, flared front fenders and a rear trunk spoiler offered as an option. The final touch are Black Rotiform wheels.
The kit will cost you €12,900, while the optional boot lid spoiler will require an additional €599 with more details expected soon.
