There are obvious precautions taken by a driver and one of them is not to leave the car with the ignition on. That’s especially important while at the gas station, not only for safety reasons but also for security reasons.
The following video shows a yellow Porsche 911 that gets stolen after the owner left the keys in the ignition while filling up at the pumps. It was perfectly executed, not even the attendants noticed the theft which also involved a blue BMW M5. A lesson for us all, thanks to the cameras in the station and hopefully it was tracked back to the owner.
