Smaller Quattroporte to be Named Maserati Ghibli!

Maserati will named their small sedan the Maserat Ghibli. Dutch newspaper Telegraaf confirms that the Ghibli badge will return when Maserati unveils the 5-Series competitor at Frankfurt next year. The same source also confirms that the Kubang name will be ditched for the 2014 SUV and instead, Maserati will name the model ‘Levante’.

Maserati were thought to be bringing the Quattroporte successor to Paris, however, they will almost certainly display it at next year’s Detroit Motor Show now. The smaller sedan will follow at Frankfurt next year.

The Ghibli name has some history. It’s seen two previous generations, both two-door coupe’s. We can’t wait to see the new one!
