The 2014 Porsche 911 Turbo is heading our way. The new turbocharged 991 is expected to be introduced in the fall of 2013, before going on sale in the spring of 2014.
New information via AutoBild suggests that the new 991 Turbo will feature four-wheel steering linked to the all-wheel drive system. Porsche hopes to gain a much improved handling from the new implementation.
The performance of the twin-turbo six-cylinder engine increases from 500 to 530hp. A dual-clutch transmission is available at extra cost. The model will be able to accelerate from 0-100km/h in 3.3 seconds and hit a top speed in excess of 313km/h.
That still doesn’t explain why the 2014 Porsche 911 Turbo is not gonna be on sale until 2014.
