Last weekend the famous Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este 2012 event was held on the shores of Lake Como, Italy. A large variety of wonderful historical cars and concepts were displayed at the grounds of Villa d’Este. The annual event did not disappoint the expectations of the visitors, according to our Italian reporter Alvise Seno at 0-100.it.

The competition at the Villa d’Este showed journalists, hotel guests and participants a selection of the most beautiful and prestigious collector cars ranging between different ages. You can check the winners of the competition here.

Highlights at the show were a 1925 Rolls-Royce Phantom I Jonckheere Aerodynamic Coupe, Mercedes-Benz 540 K Spezial Roadster, 1935 Alfa Romeo 6C 2300 Pescara Spider Touring, Alfa Romeo 6C Figoni and Falaschi, Porsche 356, Porsche 917/K Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing, BMW 507 Roadster, Aston Martin Project 310 AM and the BMW Zagato Coupé.
