A future owner crashed this white Ferrari California on his final test drive. He lost control of the Italian sports car and tried its abilities to float and swim.
According to the story at Jalopnik, the driver launched it into the bay just north of San Francisco yesterday afternoon. The car reportedly went airborne 20 feet in the air before landing in the drink.
The impact was strong enough to trigger one of the side curtain airbags in the California. Neither the driver nor the salesman in the seat next to him were injured.
Unfortunately, this is the second exotic car destroyed during a test drive in California over the past four weeks. You may remember the Lamborghini Aventador that burned to the ground on a test drive last month.
People who can’t drive shouldn’t own cars like that.
