BMW has just started a new season with its Ring-Taxi in which people can take a ride around the Nürburgring. But now another carmaker has started to offer a similar service as Jaguar enters the Ring.

Jaguar has launched the XJ Sport and Speed taxi service. The rides will be carried out by trained drivers in a matt grey, all-aluminium long wheelbase XJ Supersport with Sport and Speed Pack options.

Besides removing the electronic speed limiter the car is mechanically standard. But on the inside some luxury has removed in order to provide more safety. The interior features now four race seats, each equipped with four-point harnesses. A full bespoke roll cage completes the interior changes.

This cab is powered by a supercharged 5.0 liter V8 engine with an output of 510 horsepower and 625Nm of torque. With an acceleration time from standstill to 100km/h in 4.9 seconds and a top speed of 280km/h passengers can enjoy exciting laps around the Green Hell.
